The members of the Denver Broncos defense know what they need to do to have success. It’s safe to say the Broncos have figured it out and it’s now one of the best units in football. And they can get even better.
One of the main reasons is Derek Wolfe. The veteran defensive end is having one of the best seasons of his eight-year career. Wolfe has the potential to have his best season in terms of sacks (six), and, depending on how the last seven games unfold, tackles (51). When you add in the emergence of Alexander Johnson and Mike Purcell, plus Justin Simmons, the pieces are in place for Denver to have a defense that leads the Broncos to success in the years to come.
