On Monday, word came down that the Big 10 and the Mountain West conferences canceled their 2020 college football seasons. While it remains to be seen what the ACC, SEC, PAC-12 and rogue Big 10 teams (Nebraska, Iowa, and Ohio) may do to try to preserve a football season, it’s becoming increasingly clear that college football Saturdays are going to look a lot different.
According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, the NFL is keeping an eye on these conference cancellations and may look to take advantage of the dearth of sports programming featured on Saturdays.
