Broncos’ Dec. 5 game at Kansas City Chiefs flexed to prime-time kickoff

The NFL announced Tuesday the Broncos’ Dec. 5 game at Kansas City has been flexed to 6:20 p.m. Denver time and be televised by NBC.

It will be the Broncos’ second prime-time appearance of the season. They lost 17-14 at Cleveland on Oct. 21.

The originally scheduled night game of San Francisco at Seattle was swapped out in favor of Broncos-Chiefs.

The Broncos enter Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers with a 5-5 record and Kansas City is 6-4 and on its bye week.

The Broncos have lost 11 consecutive games to Kansas City (their last win in the series was Week 2 of 2015) and six games on “Sunday Night Football” (their last win was Week 12 of 2015).
