Broncos Briefs: Kareem Jackson on former/current teammate A.J. Bouye — “He can do it all”

A former first-round pick, Kareem Jackson was already a well-established starter for Houston in 2013 when undrafted — and unheralded — rookie A.J. Bouye made the team.

Four-year teammates as cornerbacks with the Texans, Jackson and Bouye were reunited following the Broncos’ move to acquire Bouye from Jacksonville in March. Only this time, Jackson is a safety and Bouye remains a cornerback.

Bouye will be the Broncos’ No. 1 cornerback, replacing Chris Harris, who signed with the Los Angeles Chargers.

“I know what (Bouye is) capable of,” Jackson said during a media conference. “I’ve seen him since Day 1 when he got into this league as a young kid out of UCF.
