With training camp around the corner, Mavs sign Green and Bey

Josh Green and Tyler Bey put pen to paper on Monday when they signed their rookie contract with the Dallas Mavericks. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The No. 18th overall pick of the Nov. 18 NBA Draft, Green applied for the draft after playing just one season for the University of Arizona Wildcats. The 6-6, 210-pound forward averaged 12 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 steals while starting all 30 games for the Wildcats last season and is admittedly all giddy about joining the Mavs.

“I’ve always watched the Mavericks from a young age,” Green said on draft night.
