A few weeks ago, I asked Dallas Mavericks super fan @PandaHank41 to join our staff. If you’re unfamiliar, he creates and publishes some incredible video content on the Dallas Mavericks from yesteryear. Today he published a throwback look at a January 2006 game against the Denver Nuggets where Dirk Nowitzki went off for 27 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and a whopping seven blocks.
Considering some of the terrible basketball we’ve been subjected to the last three games, watching Dirk and the 2005-2006 Mavericks beat the Nuggets in overtime (box score here) is a tonic I didn’t know I needed.
