If they could have beaten the Portland Trail Blazers, there was a chance that they could avoid the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round if everything with their way. Thanks to a 61-point eruption by Damian Lillard—and a bevy of whistles—the Blazers were able to hold off the Mavs, 134-131.
