Let’s all be real: the Mavericks are not expected to be good. But they will be fun! Dennis Smith Jr.! Dirk’s 20th season! Can Harrison Barnes take another step? Can Yogi Ferrell build on his successful 10-day contract to All-Rookie year campaign? So many great storylines to follow on this team this year, and I for one am excited regardless of their chances to make the playoffs in a crowded Western Conference.
