MEMPHIS — Hoping to bounce back after suffering a heartbreaking 110-102 overtime loss to the NBA-best Boston Celtics on Monday night, the Dallas Mavericks will now attempt to capture a coveted road win 48 hours later against a team they’ve already seen twice this season.
Falling to the Celtics to conclude a 1-3 homestand, the Mavericks (3-15) will now search for success on the road Wednesday in Memphis. The Mavs will also try to move to 2-1 on the season against the Southwest Division rival Grizzlies (7-9) after splitting a home-home series earlier this season. And with the Grizzlies continuing to play minus point guard Mike Conley (Achilles, the Mavericks will attempt to take advantage of a wounded opponent Wednesday night.
