Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. got off to a fast start in his NBA debut.
Smith scored his first two points on an alley oop on a feed from Wesley Matthews 32 seconds into the game.
The rookie led the Mavs with 16 points through three quarters.
