Despite rise of movement in NBA free agency, Mark Cuban continues to sit and watch as super teams grow around Mavs

Add Mavericks owner Mark Cuban to the list of those who enjoyed watching NBA superstars bounce around the league in free agency this month.

"Now instead of having one super team that everybody is trying to bear, we've got a bunch of super teams,'' Cuban said on SiriusXM NBA radio.

It's just that his team isn't one of them.

No one anticipated the Mavericks vaulting right to the top of the Western Conference pecking order, even with $30 million to spend in free agency. Then again, can we really call the return of Seth Curry and the addition of Memphis guard Delon Wright evidence that the Mavs "split our aces" as president Donnie Nelson suggested they might?
