The Dallas Mavericks re-signed Seth Curry because they knew the impact he could make in their offense. The 6’2 guard is one of the best shooters in the NBA. The Mavs need that floor spacing to maximize the incredible talents of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, but nobody expected Curry to be this good. Over the final 32 games, Curry averaged 14.7 points per game on 52.9 percent from the field and 48.6 percent from 3-point range.
The Mavs are excited about year two. Dallas had plenty of new pieces to integrate this season, but the core will be back in 2021.
