Dallas Mavericks: James Johnson three-team trade grade
The Dallas Mavericks have had a busy week. They spent the first few days finalizing their plans for Wednesday’s draft while working the phones on trades. The Mavs drafted three talented rookies and traded for Josh Richardson on Nov. 18. Finally, free agency opened on Friday meaning the Mavericks had a few more moves up their sleeves.
The first was re-signing Trey Burke to a three-year deal. The veteran guard wanted to be in Dallas, and his outstanding play during the Walt Disney World restart made the feeling mutual.
