FRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys are expected to hire Sanjay Lal as their new wide receivers coach, replacing Derek Dooley.
Lal last coached the Indianapolis Colts’ receivers in 2017 and has been an offensive assistant in the NFL since 2007. He has worked as receivers coach in Oakland, the Jets, Buffalo and Indianapolis over the last nine seasons.
Lal is expected be the second new hire to Garrett’s staff in the last week. Paul Alexander, a top Bengals assistant for 23 seasons, has been officially hired to coach the offensive line.
