Okay, so the two-game experiment against winning teams didn’t go so well. We can sit here and sulk about it, or we can take comfort that the Dallas Cowboys get a week reprieve from a difficult game, and instead have a date with the winless New York Jets. Sure, it’s nowhere near as satisfying beating up on a bad team, but right now - beggars can’t be choosers and we need this team to go out and be better than somebody; even if it is just the Jets.
I can say that now, because the game hasn’t started yet, so disappointment hasn’t had a chance to set in.
