With the season hanging in the balance, the Dallas Cowboys needed a win and a Philadelphia Eagles loss. So you would think the Cowboys would come out with a sense of urgency as they did against the Rams two weeks ago. Nope, they came out like they have been pretty much all season, with no energy and a three and out on their first drive of the game.
An while the offense came out stale, the defense came out and created a turnover with Jaylon Smith picking off Redskins quarterback Case Keenum. Quarterback Dak Prescott and the offense wouldn’t be able to take advantage and were forced to settle for a field goal from Kai Forbath making it a 3-0 game.
