The Dallas Cowboys got a lot of help during their bye week, and that goes beyond the NFC playoff picture. Four of the five teams in front of them in the Wild Card race all lost, including the Packers, which bolstered the Cowboys' position in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Of course, the Packers' loss was a double-edged sword since it came against the Eagles, who improved to 7-2 and into the top spot in the conference. In doing so, they have all but wrapped up the NFC East crown. It would take a historic collapse and Dallas to potentially run the table in the final eight weeks for the Cowboys to even make Philadelphia sweat.
