One of the biggest surprises for the Dallas Cowboys since training camp began has undeniably been wide receiver Devin Smith. The former second-round pick had a long way to go and did absolutely everything that he could to get there.
It seems as if Smith’s efforts were rewarded to the degree he likely hoped. According to NFL Network’s Bobby Belt, Devin Smith has made the Dallas Cowboys 53-man roster.
Dallas had three receivers in Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and Randall Cobb that were assured roster spots from the moment OTAs even began.
