Hodgson provides positive update on Eagles quartet

Roy Hodgson is optimistic that Crystal Palace will be able to call upon the services of Vicente Guaita and Luka Milivojeviu0107 against Burnley on Monday. Furthermore, the Eagles manager isn’t “writing off the chances" of Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke being available for selection.

Benteke and Guaita were both absent from the matchday squad against Liverpool, with Hodgson confirming pre-match that the duo had suffered muscle strains.

Captain Milivojeviu0107’s injury wasn’t severe enough to rule him out of the squad entirely, and played just under 30 minutes at Anfield.

Regarding Zaha, Hodgson provided the following update: “We don’t know that yet – we’ve still got two days and he was having treatment this morning.
