Attacker Kei Kamara, who tied for the most goals in Major League Soccer last season during Crew SC’s run to the MLS Cup Final, is in a contract dispute with the team and has yet to report for training camp, the "Washington Post" reported on Monday night.
Kamara made $536,666 last season, which was third on the team behind forward Federico Higuain and defender Gaston Sauro. Kamara scored 22 goals, which matched the total of Sebastian Giovinco of Toronto. Kamara appeared in 32 of 34 regular-season games.
The "Post" reported that Kamara has remained in Columbus after the team opened camp in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
