1. Can Kamara do it again?
Kei Kamara scored 22 goals in the regular season, added four in the playoffs and was a finalist for Major League Soccer MVP. He picked up where he left off in training camp, scoring three times in his first 71 minutes in the preseason. Kamara had never scored more than 11 goals in any previous season, but it’s hard to imagine last season was a fluke. Anything less than 15 goals might be a disappointment.
2. How solid is that defense?
The Crew’s backline was its weak link until late-season additions Harrison Afful and Gaston Sauro shored things up in the final weeks.
