The Crew (2-4-2) will play five of its next seven games in Mapfre Stadium, including three of five before Major League Soccer takes a break in June for the Copa America Centenario.
Certainly, home field offers a great advantage. But for the Crew, it will be tempered.
Beginning with a game against Eastern Conference leader Montreal tonight, the Crew will play six straight games against teams that as of Saturday afternoon were at or near the top of the conference standings.
