Forward Kei Kamara scored a tying goal in the 26th minute and Crew SC tied Real Salt Lake 1-1 in a preseason game in Tucson, Arizona.
Kamara’s header of a cross by Waylon Francis was his third goal of the preseason.
The Crew used a lineup that included 10 of 11 starters from December’s MLS Cup final loss to Portland for the first 61 minutes.
Jordan Allen scored for Real Salt Lake.
The Crew next plays in Tucson on Wednesday against the minor-league Swope Park Rangers.
