Crew SC announced today that it has acquired forward Ola Kamara, a 26-year-old Norwegian who totaled 74 goals in several professional seasons in Europe.
“We have been tracking Ola for quite some time and we are pleased to welcome him to Crew SC,” sporting director and coach Gregg Berhalter said. “Not only does he bring a different attacking profile to our club, but his scoring record and past production speaks for itself.”
Kamara. who has made seven appearances with the Norwegian national team, must obtain an international transfer certificate and P-1 visa before joining Columbus. He will occupy an international roster spot.
