MSL | Crew takes forward with third-round SuperDraft pick

Crew SC selected a forward with its third-round pick and two Ohio State players also were taken as Major League Soccer wrapped up its SuperDraft with rounds three and four taking place via conference call today.

Columbus added Vince Cicciarelli, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound forward from St. Louis University in the third round (60th overall pick). He led the Billikens with five goals as a senior after transferring from Notre Dame.

OSU goalkeeper Chris Froschauer was drafted in the third round (43rd) by Colorado, and OSU defender Liam Doyle went in the fourth round (67th) to D.C. United.
