The Crew is in ninth place in the Eastern Conference and winless on the road. To be fair, its 3-4-5 record is not awful, not the way the East is jammed. That is the message, more or less, delivered by coach, sporting director and message control officer Gregg Berhalter.
“I think the last time I looked at the standings was sometime in April,” Berhalter said after practice Monday.
