Crew SC revealed a bold new uniform that it will wear during the upcoming season on Wednesday afternoon during a ceremony at Columbus City Hall, unveiling a design with new colors inspired by the city’s flag.
The “For Columbus” uniform, including distinctive blue shorts, features a jersey that includes an image of the city flag on the lower left corner and other badging and elements aligned with the city’s flag and heritage.
"Every time we step on the field we're going to have Columbus behind us," Coach Gregg Berhalter said. "It's a great step."
The uniform, to be worn this season only, will be one of three worn by the team in 2016.
