Matt Lampson had four saves, including a diving stop in the 68th minute, to help the Chicago Fire play Columbus Crew SC to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.
It was the first shutout of the season for Lampson, who came into the game fifth in all of Major League Soccer with 10 saves.
Both teams came up empty after some early opportunities. The Fire had six corners in the first 10 minutes and Columbus had a pair of shots blocked, a couple of offside calls and Federico Higuain came away empty handed on two early shots -- the first of which was saved by Lampson in the 11th.
