Senzatela has been in and out of the rotation since June 22 and will take the spot of Jeff Hoffman, recently optioned to Triple-A. Senzatela’s last start came Aug. 9 vs. the Indians, and he gave up two runs in five innings.
Kennedy will get the start in Game 2 of the series with Colorado. Kennedy was shaky his last time out Friday against the Indians, lasting only 2 2/3 innings while giving up five runs.
