Rockies reinstate Antonio Senzatela, send Chris Iannetta to injured list amid flurry of moves

SAN DIEGO — The Rockies made a flurry of roster moves ahead of their two-game set against the Padres, most notably reinstating right-hander Antonio Senzatela from the injured list.

Senzatela was projected to make Colorado’s rotation out of spring training, but a heel infection delayed his 2019 debut, which comes Monday at Petco Park.

The 24-year-old was 6-6 with a 4.38 ERA in 23 appearances (13 starts) last season and manager Bud Black expects him to immediately pick up weight in the back end of the Colorado rotation, which has been hampered early on by Chad Bettis‘ inconsistencies and Tyler Anderson‘s knee injury.
