Rockies hope to see Story soon

The Rockies had a rough weekend, but things might be looking up as Trevor Story could come back soon. The initial fear was that he might be out upwards of several weeks with a thumb injury, but his June 29th eligibility seems realistic for his return. This would mean he’d be back for the second half of the home series against the Dodgers as well as the final games before the All-Star break. Story’s currently working on staying fresh and getting over a bone bruise. Brendan Rodgers and Pat Valaika have been filling in at shortstop, and the Rockies haven’t gotten much offense out of either.
