The Colorado Rockies have made a couple roster moves prior to their game against the Los Angeles Dodgers Saturday evening.

Biggest move coming from 20th and Blake is the club designating veteran right-hander Wade Davis for assignment.

Davis, 35, fought injuries and struggled in 2020 logging two saves while carrying a 20.77 ERA. The 60-game season was a bust for the veteran as he appeared in five games while logging 4.1 innings pitched for the boys in purple pin stripes.

In his three seasons with the Rockies his 2018 contest was his best, setting a franchise record with 43 saves, leading the league his first year with the club.
