Alex Verdugo was the Rockies killer this time, hitting a walk-off home run against Jesus Tinoco in the bottom of the 11th inning, sending the Rockies to a 5-4 loss. It was the second straight night a Dodgers rookie hit a walk-off home run against the Rockies, who dropped their 10th straight game against Los Angeles. It was Verdugo’s second homer of the night and dropped the Rockies to 3-2 on the current nine-game road trip and 40-36 on the season.
