The opening game of the Rockies-Mets series set for Friday night at Coors Field has been postponed, the team announced, as rain and the possibility of snow swirled around Denver heading into the weekend.
Instead, the teams are scheduled for a doubleheader Saturday. The first game’s at 1:10 p.m. and the second at 6:40.
Saturday’s forecast also shows the possibility of snow, which could jeopardize the doubleheader as well.
Tickets from Friday’s game will be valid for the first game in Saturday’s doubleheader only. Those unable to attend the Saturday afternoon game will have other options based on how they purchased their tickets.
