Nick Cafardo of The Boston Globe is reporting that Logan Morrison is drawing interest from the Rockies as the Winter Meetings approach this week in Orlando. Last year, the 30-year-old first baseman belted 38 home runs and drove in 85 RBI in his second season with the Tampa Bay Rays. He is an unrestricted free agent this season after earning $2.75 million with the Rays last season.
The left-handed Morrison has eight Major League seasons under his belt, playing previously for the Florida/Miami Marlins and Seattle Mariners in addition to the Rays.
