Colorado Rockies game No. 52 thread: Tony Gonsolin vs. Antonio Senzatela

With nine games left in 2020, the Colorado Rockies (22-29) somehow still find themselves in the hunt for the postseason. In fact, with a mini 2007-like run, the Rockies can possibly finish the season above .500 — but it’ll have to start today against the Major League-leading Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 38-15 Dodgers will look to complete the four-game sweep this afternoon in Colorado’s final home game of the season. The Rockies are 2-7 against the Dodgers this year and have won just twice in their last 11 games overall. Still, Colorado is only three games behind the Cincinnati Reds for the final playoff spot in the National League (albeit with three teams to jump over, as well).
