After losing a Coors Field weekend series to the Angels 2-1, Colorado’s final homestand of 2020 continues with a two-game set against the Oakland A’s starting Tuesday night. The Rockies (21-25) have 14 games left and are 1.5 games behind the Giants (23-24), who are currently holding onto the last Wild Card playoff spot.
If there was a time to get things going, this would be it. On the bright side, Nolan Arenado is back in the lineup after missing Sunday’s game with a sore left shoulder. Raimel Tapia also returns to the lineup after he was pulled after four innings from Sunday’s game with dizziness after making a diving catch (he also wasn’t feeling well before the game).
