Colorado Rockies: Choosing the best moment of the past decade

When we are through the Thanksgiving holiday and December starts on Sunday, we will be asking fans to once again help us, this time with each of you determining which of the Colorado Rockies memories from the past decade is the most special to you … and maybe the most meaningful to the franchise.

There are plenty to choose from, of course. Personally, I have been fortunate enough to be at perhaps two of the greatest and I know the energy that was at those games was something that words truly can’t describe.

Perhaps I am a bit reflective today as I sit in snowy northern Colorado and mark my 51st birthday (yeah, I know, I’m the old guy of the Rockies blog crew) but I think back to the chilly October 2018 night I was at Wrigley Field in the press box when Tony Wolters ended the Chicago Cubs season with a hit back up the middle that will forever live in Rockies lore.
