MANHATTAN, Kan. — McKinley Wright IV scored 24 points and the Colorado Buffaloes overcame a slow start Friday night to collect a 76-58 win over host Kansas State in the Little Apple Classic.
Tad Boyle's Buffs improved to 2-0 with the win while the Wildcats dropped to 0-2.
Wright, who had 20 points in CU's season-opening 84-61 win over South Dakota, added five rebounds and five assists against the Wildcats and just two turnovers. Wright was the only Buff in double figures, but CU did get nine points apiece from Eli Parquet, Jeriah Horne and Jabari Walker.
