Women's golf: Buffs remain in hunt after second round at Pac-12

SEATTLE — University of Colorado senior Brittany Fan shot a 1-under 71 to move into a tie for fifth place and the 20th-ranked Buffaloes remained within striking distance of the team lead after the second round of the 2018 Pac-12 Conference Women's Golf Championship at the Broadmoor Golf Club.

Fan shot under par for the second consecutive round and now sits at 3-under 141, three strokes behind co-leaders Patty Tavatanakit and Lilia Vu of UCLA.

Fan's teammate Robyn Choi shot even par 72 and sits two shots behind Fan, tied for ninth with a 1-under 143.

As a team, the Buffs tied their day one score of 3-over 291 and sit in fourth place with a 6-over 582 heading into Tuesday's final round.
