The late-season swoon of the Buffaloes reached a new low Wednesday night in the first round of the Pac-12 Conference tournament, as 11th-seeded Washington State dominated the Buffs in all facets while eliminating CU in an 82-68 decision.
Prior to the game, the Pac-12 announced that fans will be barred from tournament games beginning with Thursday’s quarterfinal games, following a day-long trend Wednesday as the NCAA and its affiliate conferences enacted protective measures in response to the spread of the COVID-19 virus across the nation.
