CU coach Karl Dorrell: Eight weeks ideal to prepare for season, but six weeks manageable

“I think it’s an eight-week process,” Dorrell said Tuesday during a Pac-12 Conference video conference with Utah coach Kyle Whittingham and Washington coach Jimmy Lake. “I would like to have a month of conditioning to get them ready for a month of training camp.

“I don’t think we’re going to get anything close to that (due to the coronavirus pandemic).
