Colorado offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic will join Mel Tucker at Michigan State.
Kapilovic confirmed to Buffzone.com that he has decided to leave CU and coach the offensive line at Michigan State.
After one year as CU’s head coach, Tucker bolted for Michigan State last Tuesday. Kapilovic is the first CU assistant to join Tucker in East Lansing, Mich.
Kapilovic was hired by Tucker to join CU’s staff on Dec. 13, 2018. He had spent the previous seven seasons at North Carolina. He coached at Southern Mississippi for four years before that.
This winter, Kapilovic was offered opportunities to coach at Auburn and Missouri, but Tucker was able to keep him at CU with a higher salary.
