CU Buffs get in-state commit for 2019

The Colorado football team is still working on its 2018 recruiting class, but on Tuesday night, the Buffaloes got a nice start on their 2019 class.

Valor Christian High School running back Joshia Davis announced on Twitter that he has given his verbal commitment to the Buffs.

"I fell in love with one school since day 1," he wrote in a statement on Twitter.

Davis is the first player to commit to the Buffs for the 2019 class.

As a junior this past season, Davis was the leading rusher for Valor Christian (11-1). MaxPreps.com has statistics for only nine games, but in those games, Davis ran for 771 yards and 11 touchdowns on 129 carries (6.
