CU Buffs back on track with good practice

Bad practices are going to happen sometimes and when they do, they can be good teaching moments for a coach.

That doesn't mean they are acceptable, however.

"I never want to have a bad practice and I hate seeing bad practices," Colorado head football coach Mel Tucker said Wednesday after the Buffaloes' 11th practice of spring. "It does happen and as coaches we have to evaluate, why did we have a bad practice, and then what do we need to do to get it corrected, and that's what we did."

On Monday, Tucker, for the first time this spring, expressed his displeasure in how the Buffs practiced.
