Mel Tucker’s Year 2 Pac-12 opener is a doozy. And it’s the Ducks.
The CU Buffs’ conference slate for 2020 was revealed Thursday afternoon as the Pac-12 announced its league schedule. Tucker’s Buffs, who were 5-7 in the coach’s debut season at the helm, will open conference play against Oregon the defending Pac-12 champions, on Sept. 26 at Folsom Field.
The Ducks is expected to return nine starters to a defense that helped Oregon finish 12-2 in 2019, with a win over Utah in the league championship game and a 28-27 comeback victory over Wisconsin in the 2020 Rose Bowl.
