Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Johnny Huntley III to transfer

Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Johnny Huntley III announced he’ll be transferring from the program after two years in Boulder, making his intentions known on Monday afternoon via Twitter.

Huntley signed with CU as a top-rated receiver in the 2016 class from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During his senior year at South Plantation HS, Huntley’s 55 receptions for 940 yards and 12 touchdowns earned first-team All-Broward County honors. Rivals rated him one of the top 30 receivers in the southern region, and No. 61 overall in the Florida.

As a true freshman, Huntley played in 13 games, seeing a majority of playing time on special teams along with one reception for 14 yards.
