Colorado Buffaloes blow out Omaha, 91-49

After demolishing Northern Colorado on Monday, the Colorado Buffaloes did much of the same against the similarly overmatched Omaha Mavericks, winning 91-49.

The Buffs started the game with a clear advantage on the interior, as is expected in a game like this. Omaha crashed hard into the paint, choosing to give up open threes instead of inside layups. That’s usually a good strategy against the inconsistent Buffs, but everyone was hot today. Led by D’Shawn Schwartz getting into gear, Colorado hit six three-pointers in the half on their way to a 47-25 lead.

The second half was mostly coasting.
