McKinley Wright IV was named Pac-12 Player of the Week, while Jabari Walker was named Freshman of the Week. Wright is the best player in the league, so it’s hardly a surprise to see his name appear after leading CU to three impressive wins. Walker, on the other hand, had his coming out party, as he posted a total of 49 points and 29 rebounds in those three contests.
For the women’s team, senior forward Mya Hollingshed won Pac-12 Player of the Year after leading the Buffs to an upset over the #1-ranked Stanford Cardinal.
