Colorado Avalanche: Conor Timmins Impressive in Return to Eagles

Colorado Avalanche defensive prospect Conor Timmins has returned to the Colorado Eagles lineup. His first game back was the January 24 game at home against the San Antonio Rampage. He hadn’t played since the December 14 game at home against the San Diego Gulls.

We never get any real news about the Colorado Eagles — not like we do with the Avalanche. However, Timmins was out starting with the December 17 game against the Manitoba Moose with an undisclosed “lower-body injury.”

And, boy, can we breath a sigh of relief. Of course, Timmins missed a full 18 months with a concussion suffered in his final playoff game with his major juniors team, the Soo Greyhounds.
